![]() ![]() In fact, font scaling looks even worse than Linux scaling in percents. If I try to increase the scaling using scaling factor Tweaks, it increases only fonts but not shells and widgets which makes apps look broken again. If I leave natural NVidia resolution of 2880:1800 and just set Linux scaling to 100% then again everything looks proportional and no broken shells and widgets, but everything is incredibly small. Most of fonts and everything looks almost perfect when I scale display resolution in NVidia down to 1920:1200 and change Linux scaling in settings down to 100% but this makes fonts somewhat blurry. In this case, it's Mono Develop, but practically any file manager in Linux, like Krusader or Double Commander, suffers from incorrect scaling. With current settings the size of shell and widgets is somewhat ok, but some fonts and toolbar icons are very small in specific applications. Tweaks settings showing that current font scaling factor is 1.NVidia settings that shows that current screen resolution is Auto and set to 2880:1800.Application Mono Develop, very small fonts and broken search boxes.I know there were several big discussions related to pixel scaling but it's the end of 2021 and I was wondering if there is a reliable way to display Linux on MacBook Pro Retina because after playing with different settings for 2 days I couldn't find acceptable combination that would work for all apps and scenarios. ![]()
